Check Engine Light Still On!!!!rbhale32 03-30-2005, 12:59 PM I have a 93 Honda Civic HB with a D16 engine swap from a 95 Civic Si. The engine light came on after the swap, and I thought it was the O2 sensor gone bad. So I changed that, and its still on. Is there anything else i can check that would make the light go off? I tried disconnecting the battery too, but still no luck. I thought for sure it was the O2 sensor. It even drives better after I changed it. Thanks guys. GScivic7 03-30-2005, 01:42 PM why don't you just get the code and save yourself the headache of trying to figure out what it is. rbhale32 03-30-2005, 05:47 PM where or how would I do that? I know very little so far about hondas. They're fun though.. BrodyP 03-30-2005, 06:10 PM Go autozone or pep boys and have them read the codes for you it should be free. rbhale32 03-30-2005, 06:52 PM thanks man... never would have guessed... superbluecivicsi 03-30-2005, 10:42 PM jump the wires. theres plenty of threads concerning it. search and you shall find ;) GScivic7 03-31-2005, 12:07 AM rbhale32 03-31-2005, 03:46 PM That was so much easier than i thought it would be. It's a code 19=automatic transmission lockup control valve. I have a 95 civic si engine in a 93 Civic HB, and the engine was a auto, and my HB is a manual. What can I do to fix this. I'm just glad there's nothing really wrong, just want that darn light off.. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
