Im purchasing a Talon TSI AWD soon, 96-98. What should i be looking for when im shopping around? Im talking about defects, rust, bad motors, clutch, tranny? Thanks for any input.

ok luke, well see? Wouldn't you do that for any car? anyway if i knew what kind it was (5speed?) I could tell you to look for a firm shifter. No play. But you look for that in any manual car tho. Auto look for smooth shifting. Oil leaks? DUH and most of all just have a mechanic to check it out thoroughly and look for irregular tire wear, erratic idling, service receipits, and whole list of other stuff that you would look for in any car. See?!?!
