Don't touch it, and take it to a Mercedes Benz dealer only. Don't let anyone else other than a MB dealer get close to it.(they may somehow give Mb a reason to void the warranty) On another note, this is not normal for your car. I suspect they mis diagnosed it. I would venture a guess of a bad speed sensor in the valve body electronic plate. Is it in "limp home" mode?(you have only 2nd gear and reverse in this mode). In any event, your car has a bumper to bumper warranty for 50,000 miles or 4 years from the original purchase date, so don't worry to much, the clk cars are very nice machines. thehumble007 03-18-2006, 06:09 PM mb engines are great, but there transmissions suck 99avenger2.5 03-26-2006, 10:22 PM it most likley is not the torque converter it is the trans control module. I have not heard of any problems with the torque converters. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
