'98 Neon headgasket job, kind of off-topic questionMEhokie 03-29-2005, 01:37 PM I'm a blue oval guy myself, but agreed to do a headgasket job on a friend's Neon that I had a slight hand in blowing up (let's say I was distracting said friend at the time when the head gasket blew. Question I have is on the best way to flush the cooling system of all the antifreeze/oil goop. One thing that I've thought of would be running some paint thinner in there, but I'd be concerned about it eating seals and such too. Any ideas for this Ford guy working on the Dodge? Austin8214 03-29-2005, 03:40 PM I would just get a good can of raidator flush and that should work fine. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
