Hi, Im new to the forums. I am a huge sports car fan. The question at hand is this, I recently heard from a friend that a local import tuner is selling his Skyline RS34 all wheel drive (not a typo) for $20000!! I have not checked out the car, but it is supposed to be stock and in mint running condition, right hand drive. His reason for selling is that he has too many cars, and the Skyline has to go. Is it even POSSIBLE that an above mentioned car can be sold at that price. From what i have learned in the past is that something too good to be true probably is. But nontheless it dosn't hurt to check it out. If there's anyone from the Dallas Ft.worth area would like to go with me to see the car it is located in Irvin. I would like to hear what you guys think. Any feedback, opinions, and info would be greatly appreciated.

Hold on, before you all rip his hopes apart........if it is an R33......which you say it is........check on the year.....you might have been wrong about "the last year it was made"........now, the only way it would have been street legal is if Motorex converted it. Now, that's easy enough to check, he should have all the proper paperwork. Now if "magically" he found another way to legally import it...............the car would still have been assigned a VIN # and would have it displayed somewhere in the car. He would also have proof that he had it registored and insured..........because if the car is a Skyline R-33 GTS-25T, he could have bought it for maybe 4,500-7,000(in Japan....and they can go for more or less) and then the Motorex fee was about $15,000. Yeah it could be possible.............but I doubt it. He probably has it illegally and is trying to screw someone else so he doesn't lose money on it. But hey, it's worth looking into if you want, just don't get your hopes up, and do some SERIOUS research before even thinking about buying it. :iceslolan

I'm not talking about a GT-R. You can get a really nice R33 GTS-T for like 6,000-7,000 and up or down.......but that is about the range for one in Japan..........If you disagree, like you usually do.....then someone is ripping you off. :2cents:
