Any idea and/or suggestion what may be wrong? Thanks chevyn0va1 03-27-2005, 09:43 PM The car of my son hesitates at rpm below 2000. Thanks without knowing any more info about the car I suggest basic tune up items starting with the plug wires (my first guess). fishing1000 03-28-2005, 10:52 PM You are absolutely right! It was a bad wire! I used the method that my friend taught me to find the bad wire and replaced it. After that the car runs like it almost new. It was a very simple trick: start the car at night and let it idle, turn off all the lights around the car, and watch the wires. The one(s) which illuminate are bad. Thanks, TP chevyn0va1 03-29-2005, 07:20 AM You are absolutely right! It was a bad wire! I used the method that my friend taught me to find the bad wire and replaced it. Thanks, TP Thats how I checked before (and mentioned in this searchable forum) But I hear there are other ways to check an some preventive maintance to keep plug wires in good shape (cleaning and coating with armor all and like products) That you can try before jumping to the replacement. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
