i have a 01 4 wheel drive "hoe" and i have 24s on it.so far haven't had any problems w/ brakes but i drive slow and live out in the "sticks" so there is much traffic out here. what size tires u planning to get? i have 305/35/24s and had a lil problem w/ rubbin at first on the front passesnger side b/c of the filer bottle location but i just used plastic weld between the bottle and the tire well then turned the wheel to make it tight and left it over night to harden. now its all gravy, jus gotta figure out how to recalibrate my speedometer now. :2cents:

I have an 02 Tahoe 4X2. I put 22' then 24's on it. It is a little slower on take off (corrected by supercharger install) and a little tougher to stop but not so much that it is a problem. I have thought about an upgrade to the rotors and calipers but a good set in over $1000. I can't justify the $$ for the small changes over the stock set. I have seen test results online where an Escalade with 20's took longer to stop over stock, check this site...
