Same thing happen with my 2001 Hoe. If the ABS pump it still running, you can disconnect the battery or pull the ABS fuse. You can still drive the vehicle safely without ABS, may feel some pulsation in the brake petal upon applying. Its a expensive fix at a shop or dealer. Cost me $785.00 at dealer. Now that I know what I know now I would of fixed it myself. If your mechanically inclined, you can go to www.modulemaster.com. They tell you how to remove the upper ABS pump housing. Send it to them, they rebuild it for a flat rate of $150.00. Good luck.

You can also go to Ebay. Put in "Tahoe ABS module" in the search line. There selling 99 ABS rebuilt's with a 3 year warranty for $109.00. This way you have one ready to go and don't have to remove the old one and mail it and wait...
