Toon practice using ideas from Jeri C's tutorialsBlip 03-25-2005, 05:09 PM Did this vector in Expression 3, instead of Adobe Illy, so had to change some of the steps. Still have much to learn. http://home.comcast.net/~cdrr3112/63-GrandSport-2.jpg stuffbyalex 03-25-2005, 05:49 PM Looks really cool Blip. I would reduce the shine on the tires a bit, and I'm not so sure about the driver. Looks like his shoulders are too narrow or his head is too wide. Otherwise, I love it. Great work. Alex KustmAce 03-25-2005, 11:46 PM No, no I think that's GTmike400 driving. You can tell by the fat head. GTmike400 03-25-2005, 11:49 PM No, no I think that's GTmike400 driving. You can tell by the fat head. Thats not my head, thats my helmet dingus. KustmAce 03-25-2005, 11:52 PM Thats not my head, thats my helmet dingus. You say tomayto, I say tomahtoe. Either way you still have a fat lump sittin on top of your shoulders. Now, quick jacking this thread! bonzelite 03-26-2005, 02:56 PM i'm shit at computers. so i'd say you're light years ahead. in a few months, you'll be a digital rendering demon.:) Blip 03-27-2005, 09:06 AM thanks for the comments. Okay. I admit the driver was a quick, gradient shadow. I should go back and spend a little more time on that. The tires were darker in the vector image , but got lighter after I converted it to a jpg. I got to watch out for that more closely. Anyone else have that problem when they convert a vector file? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
