What is the procedure to read / clear the Check Engine light on 96?

I'm looking for the procedure to read and then clear the Check Engine Light on my 96 Intrepid (3.5L). I know I can have Autozone read and clear the code but I'd like to be able to do it myself without driving 30 miles.

Easy....

Key on-off-on-off-on. Your check engine light will blink. Count the blinks. There will be a pause between the numbers. If it blinks twice, then a pause, then blinks five times....that's code 25. It shows codes in two digits so look for the pauses between. It will (or should anyway) end with a code 55.

By-the-way....

Without a OBDII or DRBII to erase codes, you'll have to disconnect the battery for a while!
