Labor rates calculation porsch964 03-23-2005, 03:32 PM
I need to calculate the time labor rates to perform work on a Rodeo. Is there a site where the software to obtain that information can be downloaded? Thanks in advance for your replies. amigo-2k 03-23-2005, 04:11 PM Depends on the part of the country you live in, and the service you need done. typicall rates are about 75 bucks an hour. dealers charge more. I think edmunds.com use to have maintance schedules for cars and suggested rates for the work. http://www.edmunds.com/maintenance/vehicle.do reading over the edmunds numbers, they are super low, Like 30 bucks labor to repack the bearings. I know I paid 80 to have the dealer do this and it would of cost 150 if I had 4wd. also the trans labor is low too. I think you could add on 50-100% to all of the suggestion Edmunds has. Your best bet is to post what you need done and other will chime in. Ramblin Fever 03-23-2005, 05:19 PM I can give you all kinds of estimates/actual costs of different maintenance items I've had done via my import mechanic in Colorado. I do have the 97 V6 model, so if your's is a 95.5-97 V6 model, costs would probably be similar. Last time I had my truck in, the labor rate via my mechanic was $60/hr; I believe he may have gone to $65/hr now. Related Links Enter the largest automotive community on the planet! |
