bypass A/C compressor bouliancube 03-23-2005, 12:48 PM
i have a 94 2.2L beretta, and the a/c pully is grinding. does anyone know if there is a belt out there that will bypass my a/c, and save me some time/money/headaches? amac209 03-28-2005, 08:27 PM you can just get the bearing replaced. jsgold 03-29-2005, 05:24 PM If repairing the unit is not an option for what ever reason, check online at Advance or Autozone and see if there is an option for the car with no A/C. Good possibilty it is. Could also buy a used one from a junkyard, as I did for an old 89 Olds that was a short term ownership (A/C did not work on it anyway and was not worth sinking a lot in). For 20 bucks I found an old one and put it in. If the car is nice and you plan on keeping for a good while though try to get the current one fixed if you can as previous post suggested.
