The truck ran fine when cold . 1998 3.2's had a bad run of cylinder heads. IIRC, there will be a "K" stamped somewhere on the side of the head casting. Those were the 'bad' heads. You will need new, remaned cylinder heads, all top end gaske, may as well do all the timing goodies and water pump as you will be in there anyway. Bad news is this will all be rather costly.
