why is my coil not getting any power?

I have come to the conclusion that my coil is not getting any power, what caused this? I also have a Jacobs Ing. box on it, boschmann 03-23-2005, 12:50 PM The power side of the coil is the side marked with a 15, it is not fused & power comes directly from the ignition switch in the on position.
