BCM trouble

does anyone know if I can unplug the BCM thing in my fuse box and then plug it back in to reset it? if so, is there a re-learning period that I need to let my car run for before driving, etc.? I got the P1695 code. Also, after fixing it, do I need to yank the pos battery cable to clear the code?

NEVER DISCONNECT THE BCM WHILE THE BATTERY IS STILL CONNECTED. You're asking for total meltdown of the BCM if you do that. If you want to clear codes, the recommended way is to get a scanner and clear them. Go to your local autozone or advance auto part, ask for an OBD II scanner and clear the codes. The battery thing will work, but you'll lose everything in adaptive memory and the PCM will have to go through a re-learn making your car drive like crap.
