Do i really need the wiring harness?mellowboy 03-28-2002, 01:22 PM This is how much i paid for my swap...motor/trans/ecu for 1087.50 after taxes!(thought u guys might wanna know) IT seems like it came with the whole wiring harness?? How can you really tell if its the whole harness or not? So do i need to buy the HaSport ones or just use the wiring on my crx si? Thanks 4GZChatch 03-28-2002, 02:14 PM What motor did you get? If it's a ZC, the Si wiring harness will hook right up, if its a B16, you probably need to get an HASport so that it is complete. (I think, but I don't have a B16 personally, so you may want to verify that.) I do have a ZC, and my stock harness worked fine. Happy swapping! :) mellowboy 03-28-2002, 02:35 PM Originally posted by 4GZChatch What motor did you get? No its the speed sensor. They cut the wire on it. Is it possible for me to rewire it . Please help. Thanks. 91zc 04-01-2002, 08:39 PM There should be a black boot covering the bottom part of the speed sensor that is still in the trans. Under it should be a clip holding the sensor into the trans. Take the clip out and pull the old sensor out. Then once the motor and trans are in the car plug in your stock speed sensor and secure it with the clip. The only black boot on the sensor is located on the top where the wires come out of it? 91zc 04-02-2002, 03:29 PM Yeah, there should be a clip holding the sensor into the b16 trans. Take it out and then plug in your stock sensor and use the clip to secure it. rosman4u 04-04-2002, 03:14 PM hmm..interesting info vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
