I just got my new BMW 325xi executive edition.. no more subaru :disappoin I find the steering is much harder than my old legacy, the steering isint more sensitive i just find the wheel stiff. i was wondering if this is just because the car is new or if it will stay like this for ever?

Well to tell you the facts. let me tell you first my 1999 323i is the same way. (1)It has to do with the wide tires bmw uses. (2) bmw is a high perfomance car so it needs to stick to the road, In other words the suspension is one-of-a-kind (3) once at high seeds it floats like a feather, so the hardness of the wheel help you control the car.
This will stay like this. once you get used to it driving any other car will seem wimpy. "that why it's a bimmer"

yeah like what Leonard said . . . you have to get used to the stiffness . . . Once you get up on the open road it feels like floating on air . . . .
