I need to replace saprk plugs, I usually do my own work. Manual says to rotate engine forward to get to rear of engine but doesn't say how. Can anyone help?

You don't need to rotate engine forward to change them but they are hard to get at.You could disconnect the pivot assembly at the front of engine and the engine will come forward a little but hard on the flex exaust pipe. You can access one plug up through the passenger side wheel and the others from underneath. I removed the three coil packs on top and reached down from the top to change all three in the back. AGAIN.......they are hard to get to.
There are lots of threads on this, so check them out.

It is much easier to do it this way. Takes about an hour. Pull van up on ramps. Allow engine to cool to avoid stripping threads. take off front two pivot assemblies and take a rope and pull engine forward. This will allow enough room to access spark plugs from under the vehicle. Really not that difficult, just a pain in the you know what.
