I have a 84 Plymouth laser 2.2 turbo that doesn't want to start when it is cold out 32 deg or less out. There is spark, and fuel. You can hear that it is trying to start. (can hear it fireing) take the plugs out a few times to dry them off and it will usually start. It was down for a bout 2 weeks in Jan because of the cold. What should I be looking for?

well... cold... battery... It's possible there's not enough voltage comming from it for the coil to step it up to where it needs to be. That's the most logical connection between cold and no start that I can think of.

I'm not sure of all the details of your car, for instance, had no idea it was fuel injected. But i believe some later models communicate w/ the fluid temperature sensor set to richen the mixture on a cold start. If that's malfunctioning, you could have a problem.

Also, cold shrinks things more. small crack on the intake manifold gasket, or old vacuum hoses letting more air in...

In short, I hate anything that has a computer, but maybe that will help a bit.

Any one else?

I would start with a fuel pressure test and compare the results with the factory specs if there is a problem i would start with the fuel pressure regulator. thats if the plugs are wet, which from what u said they must be. But if the pressure is the same as factory specs then your problem is somewhere else.
