i got about $500 saved up and just ran into a delema. i was gonna buy a '79 nova with the inline 6 and a automatic trans. my freind called me last night and told me abot a '92 thunderbird with a v8 and an auto trans for $500. witch is better?

i think that i would get the thunderbird because i personally dont like the 79' nova body style. is this going to be your regular driver or a resto car? for $500 they probaply not in the best shape but depending on what you are doing with the car will decide weather you get the t-bird or the nova

The six cyl Novas were slow as molases in January and the sucked gas. A buddy of mine had a V-8 Thunderbird and it ran well and got fair milage for what it was.

im looking for a daily driver and a good resto project in the same deal, and my uncle had a straight six nova and he said they are petty quick.so im gonna sleep on it a bit longer to make my final decision.
