Suspension, shocks & seatslolove2u 03-10-2005, 12:41 PM When I first bought my 4x4 97 jeep GC 3 years ago it drove very comfortable and when i drove over bumps you could barely feel them. after awhile it started to drive really rough I replaced the factory shocks with Monroe Flex shock absorbers and it still drives rough. I also here a loud noise in the back when the roads are rough. any suggestions 2nd problem- When i make turns i hear a squeaking noise in the front. It doesn't matter which way i turn and it is not the same noise as the power steering pump makes when you make sharp turns. Last problem (for now) My heated seats stopped working. Both at the same time. I checked the fuse and its fine. Any help with my noisy, squeaky, rough riding jeep. would be greatly appreciated Melissa fubijar36 03-10-2005, 07:34 PM Mine has a bad rattle in the back which I thought was the exhaust system. Checked it out and that wasn't it. It is the rear bumper cover. I'm going to ask the local body shop for the cure. SteveB05 03-11-2005, 06:21 AM Check / Lube all ball joints, tie rod ends and track bar and inspect the bushings. Your rough ride and the noise may be related...bad suspension components. On the heated seats, there are two power feeds, one fuse on the switched IGN side and an unswitched feed circut breaker. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
