I got an intake for my car and the breather filter seems to be working fine. Its been on for over a month. Just clamp it right on and it should do its job. Are you trying to tell else that your after-market intake has a hole in it for a the breather line? If so just use it and forget the breather filter. If my intake had a hole for it, I would have never used the breather filter(felt ricey buying it haha).

if your intake tube has a hole for the line, get some vacuum plugs at autozone, find the right sized one, and plug it. then hook up the breather filter.
