02 ES heat and A/C air STINKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When my blower first kicks on, the air coming out of the vents smells moldy and sour.

Is there any way to clean it out? Hose it out? BURN it out?

Where does it take a suction from? I am going to try to spray Febreeze into the suction.

spraying Febreeze won't help at all, you have mold on your evaporator. The recommend way is to take it to an A/C shop and let them do it, though that's a $600 job. You can go to your local auto part store and ask for a strong astrigent that will eat mold off w/o having to take your dashboard apart; the astringent is sprayed into one of your ducts and goes down to the evaporator.

Mine only smells when it is first turned on. The astringent that you buy does it have good directions on there?

yes, it will tell you exactly how to use the product and what vent to put it in.
