1 have a 1994 blazer s-10 4x4, driving home shut it off, couple days later went to go out starts fine but man it skipps idels like it up and down on gas, and smell of gas fumes. and when you keep rpms real high seems to be fine ? i changed map sensor and the tps as well, as advance told me this would do it. well i cant afford to keep replacing the parts for them not knowing what may be wrong. no im not cheap, i just can not afford the shop at this time due to medical needs. so i hope you guys can help. ive seen your responses here and my gosh you guys seem smarter than the reapir shops no kidding. but any way can yu help me. what should i do? yu posted in some ones thing clean the IAC Valve? what is this? and the EGR valve? could these be the problem. i dont want to bother any one but your fre in put would be so help full at this point. any suggestions i would be greatfull. the codes that came up were as follws but i dont know how old some of these are? 21 , 12 , 13 , 14, 44, 22, 45, 32, 34? or maybe i should just say wow im scewed to many problems for me?

thank you

That is a LOT of codes. Code 12 is computer testing itself, 12 means OK. 13 is Oxygen sensor. Will cause rough running and poor gas milage. Double check me on these, as I don't have a 94 manual, but most of the time a similar year is same. Code 14 on mine (93) is engine coolant temperature sensor cicuit. Code 21- TPS sensor (throttle position), code 22, DITTO, code32 -EGR valve, code 34 MAP sensor, code 44-Oxygen sensor, code 45 DITTO. Sounds like O2 sensor problem and the heck of it is, some of these will trigger other codes. Does not mean that all of these are bad, but means conditions are right for the code to set. May be a combination of EGR valve and O2 but the folks here will give you a lot of advice to follow.

Sounds like you need to check your CPI injector and clean your EGR valve.
