97 Blazer vs '97 Pick-up fuel pump specs

Hey forum members, Anybody know the difference between these two other than the level sensor unit?. Are the pumps the same operating pressure? From what I can find, the Pick-up motors (X and W) use the same injector system the Blazer uses (SFI code W motor 2door LS model).

Here's the problem; I had to replace my pump due to the fact I cracked the feed line housing when I replaced the level sensor 2 weeks ago. SES light was on due to pressure leak and heavy fume smell.My gas gauge worked for two tanks of fuel, it was nice having that feature back.

I went to the NAPA store and they gave me the wrong pump, which I determined after filling my tank with 19 gallons and the fuel tank only registered 3/4 full. I did an on-line NAPA catalog search, and it turns out the guy at NAPA gave me an S10 pick-up pump assembly.

So I went back to complain, and they told me they will exchange the pump, but of course I have a full tank of gas, and it's a bitch removing the tank, which I don't really want to do. They were quite apoligetic, but that doesn't remedy the problem. It take approx. a week to run thru a tank of gas.

Any pump experts out there?
I did e-mail NAPA Customer Service for there technical opinion on the pumps, but it's the weekend, no reply yet.
