The Chrysler 4 speed automatics have an electronic solenoid pack outside on the front of the transmission and there should be an electronic connection to it.Yours has the 4 speed automatic, most stratuses have that transmission. It does not have the 3 speed automatic
transmission

FYI. AAMCO stocks all parts for the 604, it's their number 1 transmission to rebuild . The AAMCO mechanic said anything over 75,000 and the 604 trany is on borrowed time.

..........so they say, I rebuild them all the time, most of the units I rebuild last more than 120,000 miles, Chrysler has made major revisions to this transmission since it was first introduced in 1989.
