Is this a good deal for a '95 Civic? A 2 door coupe with a black widow body kit, automatic, and it has 110,000 miles on it, for $5,000. Please respond.

is it an ex? or what and even if it is no thats not that great. its sounds pretty average. if anything. unless you have tons of power i wouldnt recomend an automatic.

what you mean not a good deal? I got my '95 2 door civic EX w/o any stinking body kit for $6,100!! and that was only 2 yrs ago and it was a great deal! Dude, if the car is an EX and its in real good shape, then yes that is a sweet deal. Sure you can find them for cheaper, it just depends on what quality you are looking for. Mine was a Honda certified, exellent ( And I mean EXCELLENT) condition, EX with 114,000 miles on it. You can get a meh so so decent DX with what you are talking about for $4,000 easy. Just depends on the quality of what you are buying. I'll leave the rest to you.

dont listen to the guy, that an awsome deal especially with the body kit, however, i wouldnt get an automatic even at that price, thats just wrong driving a souped up car with no stick

hey, Its not that bad having a souped up auto...(wink wink)(hint hint) lol :D

Im not dissing your car or nothing, but i personally wouldnt get an auto. Plus if you add a nice muffler stick sounds much better then auto.

Yeah, if I could drive a manual, I'd probably say autos suck too. But until then let me have my shoulder chip! ok!!

stick is very easy to learn, trust me its easier then learning to ride a bike. And more fun, i say maybe u should consider doing a auto to stick conversion

I'm sure it would be easy to learn. Its just an extra motion with the feet on the clutch. I do the hand shifting part sometimes even with my auto :)

A conversion is too expensive though, I'll get a manual next car I get. For now I'll just have to deal with my auto. Funny thing is though, I can't even practice driving a manual, cuz everyone in my family drives an auto. My Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, they all drive autos. I just got sucked in! Won't be too many years though. Anyways, I'm kinda lazy and I rather like the auto right now. I'll be ready for a manual soon though. Just gimme another year or so. :)

yea i've noticed darkwing, ur car is probably in the best original condition out of all the cars on the forum

markpa how about you grow up and stop calling people names for having an opinion. witch i stand by by the way. i didnt say it was a bad deal. i said it wasnt that great example here is one thats at a dealer right now 94 ex 5spd (and great condition ive looked at it) with 90,000 for 5,000. but it doesnt have a body kit. like i said its not a great deal. and im a little one sided bc i would rather have a stick than an auto.

I think I got the best deal I could find. About 6 months ago I bought my 92 civic si hb with 110,000 miles for $3,700. My uncle talked him down from $4,200

i think its a greeeat deal. as long as nothing is horribly wrong with the car you are getting a good deal! and ya, of course most people would rather have a manual but i have an auto and i beat 5speed's all the time (mainly cuz they dont know what they are doin, lol).. by the way, the transmission switch for that car would be $2500-3000....

i got the best deal. a 94 civic ex with 74,000 miles and some pieces i the door missing and no keys for $500:finger:

My cuzin had a great deal.
He bought a 92 civic hatch si with 110,000 miles for $2400.
The car was traded in on that day so he saw it while we were driving and he picked it up.
Now thats a pretty good deal.
