4x4

Can anyone help me with this one? When not to use the 4X4, thus, when should you use it, etc?

A little bit abt me & my 1996 Blazer: (1st SUV and I love it; drive it pretty much like a car - meaning no off-road stunts; city driver; no mods, yet, but when I do I will start on the motor, as I love performance, then looks.) Should I stop the Blazer prior to putting her into 4 wheel drive, put her in Park first or what?

Any help is greatly appreciated,

Don't use it at high highway speeds over 55mph.

Do not use it on dry pavement.

Remove you foot from the gas when you switch to and from 2wd.

For 4lo, have the truck completely stopped and the tranny in park or neutral.

Also, during the summer, use the 4x4 every two months or so to keep everything moving and stop the system from seizing up.

This only requires a mile or so each time.
