Im currently driving a 89 Honda Accord LXI Coupe, and I need help. The studs broke off the front passenger side wheel. I was trying to take off the wheel to put on new tires, and the lugnuts came off with the studs, I went to the dealer, and they say to bring it in, I do not plan to tow it there. too much money. anybody know how to take off the broken studs??? any help would be great. Thanks

Just knock 'em through. They just press fit from behind. Unless you get the Honda replacement studs, you may have to grind one side of the replacement's head flat, in order to angle them in from behind. You'll see what I'm talking about when you do it. Once you have them through, put something big enough to go over the threads, a larger nut works good, and run the lugnut down over it to pull the stud through.

Huh. I thought there was a cut out that you could bring them around to and get them out. Maybe that was the older ones. I'm gonna step out of this and let someone more familiar with your year tell you what happens next.
