traced ford crown victoriaknightvision 03-03-2005, 02:53 PM I spend about 4 hours on my first traced car ever. I used a vector grafic software called Zoner Draw, which is freeware. http://img213.exs.cx/img213/375/crownvictoria0yl.jpg The quality is ugly now because of resizing. Any comments? bushman_XXL 03-03-2005, 04:29 PM oh man thats great , the proportions are very good , i love those cars, is that a ford crown victoria ? Jeep_Rubicon 03-03-2005, 04:29 PM The vents in the grill arent straight/lined up with each other. The glare of the lights looks good, great work. knightvision 03-04-2005, 10:28 AM Sorry guys I hope you didn't get me wrong... the crown victoria was directly traced from a photo. I didn't draw it. I might correct the vents but I'm a bit lazy... lemorris 03-04-2005, 11:07 AM looks good tracing is a time tested method of illustration as I have found out recently many many of the high end digital guys employ tracing methods. Tracing froma sketch or directly over a photo is more than accepted...in many instances it is preferred by clients who are after realism with artistic flair. Interesting car choice. Nice job. PM me and I'll give you some great links to help. -Lemorris Jeep_Rubicon 03-04-2005, 05:42 PM Sorry guys I hope you didn't get me wrong... the crown victoria was directly traced from a photo.
