transfer case fluid replacment

I just drained the transfercase on my 86 full size blazer. Will this fill up when I fill the transmission up or does it need to be sone seperately. And if so how and what is the best way to go about this? Thanks, Todd

Should be filled separately.

There should be an upper fill plug and a lower drain plug you remove.
