i have a 95 jimmy/blazer. its the W motor and its 4X4. i noticed this the other day after i got done putting a flowmaster on the truck. i wasn't playing the radio so i could hear the flowmaster and after i was driving at 55 for maybe a mile i strted hearing a click sound in the front drivers side tire. i tried switching lanes and puting it into 4X4 hi and it was still doing it. i had to stop for a stop light which it slowly slowed down until i was stoped. when i strted back up again it wasn't there. i had to stop agin and then i turned and got up to 45 but still no noise. about 4-3 miles from turning i went back to about 50-55 and it sarted to do it again. once i stoped the truck again it was gone. i haven't heard it since but i've had the radio on so i don't know how long its been doing it. hitting the brakes doesn't change it. it almost sounds like theres something on the tire hitting the wheel well but i looked at the tire and found nothing. any ideas?

Could easily be the hub or a balljoint or tierod...

Recently found a CV boot clamp loose causing a clicking noise because the boot was popping as it turned.

Hope the grease didn't get contaminated...

ok i'll look into the C.V. boot since its the easyist to check. wouldn't the tir rod and the ball joints sound change by breaking or turning the wheel? i did recently install shocks and i might have moved the boot. i'll check it and let you know. the shocks have only been on there about a week. also if it was the hub wouldn't the sound gone away or changed by putting it into 4X4? taking it out?
