I have a 1998 Blazer and when I use the wash cycle on the front wiper it takes forever to stop. After the wash stops the wipers continues for about 1 - 2 minutes and then stops. This does not happen all the time but it drives me crazy.

might be the circuit board in the wiper motor housing. mine would come on when i made a turn.

This sounds more like the wiper/washer switch in the turn signal lever is sticking.

Replace the pulse board on the back of the wiper motor. what happens is the contacts burn out ad stick the relays open. they are $30 at autozone
