Have a muffler shop install it for you.
They will be able to put it in place of your old one.

alright thanks again ill keep yo guys updated when i replace my crappy raddling cat. I think thats one of the reasons my blazer wastes alot of gas and has no power.

When my cat wore out I ended up with a Catco universal highflow for $60.00 from summitracing... To attach it I used my old Y pipe and stainless band clamps (I hate U clamps, they suck). No leaks and passed inspection with flying colors. Clamps are only 4 bux each and they form a nice seal on the seams.

is it difficult to install a cat any special tools needed? or is it a little time consuming. also the stock pipe for exhaust is 2.25 also correct

I used a saws-all to cut my stuff off... Made it much easier... After that it was just a good ratchet to secure the band clamps.

I had my magnaflow highflow welded in.
Love the growl at higher rpms.
The stock cat is very big in part to act as a resonator to take the grunt out of the exhaust.
Without it, man, does it ever sound sweet.

I can't remember BlazerLT, do you have Dual exhaust? Or one single pipe?

Single, no need for dual exhaust on a 4.3L.
