hi.
got a problem with chrysler cirrus 1995 v6 2.5 for months !!!
It goes into LIMP HOME mode (LHM) - P,N,R and 2nd gear only.

It does not matter, if it is cold or hot, raining or not.
Now everything looks great, but the car goes into LHM - sometimes
twice a day. Check Engine still does not light up.

Always only one code is stored in TCM 41 - L/R Solenoid circuit.
- input speed sensor replaced 2 times - no change,
- output speed sensor replaced 3 times - no change,
- TCM replaced 2 times - no change,
- solenoid pack replaced 2 times - no change,
- wires TCM <> Solenoid pack checked 3 times - seem to be ok,
- circuits measured with ohmometer - seem to be ok,
- current through solenoids measured 6~7 A - seem to be ok,
- transmission "rebuilt" - no change,
- torque converter replaced - no change,

Anyone know why 41 (and LHM) comes up ?

I had a intermitent limp mode issue with my 1996 Chrysler cirrus....the final fix was to remove and clean out the rectagular transmission solenoid connector and plug with alcohol and seal the hole [that you access the connector removal screw] with a cap and RTV. Problem never returned. I think the main problem is the connector allows moisture to collect inside and disrupts the computers ability to test the tranmission cleanly.
