I'd say go w/ the Stillen bar. I've heard rumors of others like.. Cusco or something, but never seen them so cant verify their existance...

Other than the Stillen ones, I only know of Japanese ones which wouldnt be to cost effective to get here...

The only thing I dont like about the Stillen one is that the mounting brackets are pretty shitty looking... but powdercoating them will make them look a ton better!! :)

In the US, the stillen one is probably the best looking strut bar.
i think RActive also has one but it looks really plain...but cheap!
they all do the same job though. Stillen bar from me is $185shipped. Stillen bar from Stillen is around $220 i believe.
let me know

Is there any other brand's you know of that are just as good ?
I had one on mine but sold it as the price was right and needed the money for my wheels/kit etc.....bad move on my part now :( :( .
Any way, the Stillen ones here are so dear and the others i have looked at look more like home made ones and look cheep and nasty looking.

Any ideas ???

LUKE..thangs for the info.

Have you heard of a strut called...NAKAYAMA ??

They are having this sale at this speed shop in NZ and have NAKAYAMA struts/air intakes and coilovers and was thinking of buying the intake and strut.

They used to be the exclusive SSR distributor in the US...they got bigger so start manufacturering their own line of muffler/strut bar/intakes...just like every other company. I have not personally seen the strut bar so couldnt tell you more but i am assuming it'll look like every other strut bar out there....although almost any strut bar gets the job done...but you want soemhting that gets it done and good looking right? :)

Luke....thanks for the info. Its a pity the exchange rate is so bad or you could do me a good deal !!!! ???

I want something that looks good to. I want to get in to the show seen and start to show my car and to see what it's like.

screw that, just gimme a bad-ass expensive looking stb!! on another note. the 91-96 Altima strut bar ends will fit the P11 and a honduh shitvic 92-94 bar makes the combo, i had it before but took it off and someone at the shop lost the ends! DOH!

I hate to burst peoples bubbles, but front strut braces are much more effective on McPherson struts than on link type front suspensions. Your shocks aren't going to move nearly as much as a car with McPherson struts. Strut bars still help to increase rigidity on link suspension cars like the G20, but don't expect the major enhancement that happens in McPherson strut cars.
Strut bars were originally developed for cars with McPherson struts: where the upper strut mount has to deal with most of the lateral force. In the link cars, like the G20, much of that lateral force is taken up in the upper links, not the strut and spring assembly as in a McPherson strut car.
I'm not saying that front strut bars don't help rigidity, I am just saying that they dont help as much in a car like the G20 than say a BMW (where the front shock towers actually can lean in .25" or so after 150,000 miles of use)

Just to take a poll: how many people had a strut brace that didn't fit?

About 33% of all BMW owners that buy front strut braces, have fitment issues on older (6 years plus and I dont mean 1/16" or so, I mean 1/4" to 1/2"). Older Porsches are the same way. This shows that these cars really need them.

yeh, taht's very true in regards that the link type front suspension will not benefit THAT much as oppose to strut type suspenion....i tried it on and off on the track few months ago and with the bar on, highspeed cornering can be performed a little easier giving you more confident. it also will stiffen up the ride a little bit as well.
but hey, most people just want their cars to look nice and in that regards, it helps!! :)

yep, my intentions are to make the car look cool, so that helps. :D yah, G20's sus probably won't seem much benefit from the front tower bar epecially on a street car.
