Si-R front conversion?!88ReX 03-22-2002, 12:11 PM I read in another post about an si-r conversion for the front end and I was wondering where I could get information on it and its applications thanX ricodemus 03-22-2002, 04:22 PM www.jdmcars.com sells them, and a bunch of other places, you just gotts do a search or something. But it should work on your rex. It's basically (as far as looks go) just the cowl hood (reverse of the USDM), different (all clear) headlights/corners (can get them as one piece), and bumper is a little different with wrap-around lenses. Keep in mind that you must have all these pieces, they dont fit unless they are with each other. The fenders are the same shape as US spec, but have the nice sidemarker lights. Most conversions dont come with fenders, but you can buy the oem sidemarkers from www.optauto.com or ask Moppie, he can save you a few bucks. Most of the conversions run anywhere from 600-1000. I would get it, but I cant afford to get the pieces painted right now. I might as well wait til I have enough to get all the pieces and afford a real paintjob. Hope this is what you were asking for.. mellowboy 03-22-2002, 06:54 PM Yeh i'm doin the same shit. Go to www.hmotorsports.com They sell it for like 600. Thats the cheapest i've seen so far. Trinity 03-22-2002, 07:20 PM yeah but they don't include bumper lights with the bumpers Setanta 03-22-2002, 07:58 PM You also need the filler panal that goes between the bonnet and the bumper - it's tailored to suit the different shaped bonnet - not to sure if you need the different radiator supports/bonnet latch as well. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
