what is din and half mean? xsethery 02-28-2005, 12:57 AM
i want to install a new cd player in my 91 cavalier but i dont know wut din and half means....help? FormulaLT1 02-28-2005, 07:45 AM Its how they measure the size of stereo. Din is standard size. A din and half is special size used on GM & chrysler vehicles. Companys like Pioneer and Jenson make Din and half units so when you go aftermarket it eliminates the need for a install kit. Hope this helps. John Related Links Enter the largest automotive community on the planet! |
