Sometimes that is partially clogged which is forcing the pump to overwork and make more noise.. if that is the problem may as well wait till it fails and then change pump and screen anyway. Some pumps make noise when running normally...either way, I have just waited until they fail..it's a pita to remove the fuel tank so you just wait till you have to do it. The fuel filter can also cause the problem but it is easier to change and see if it reduces any overwork noise.. Related Links Enter the largest automotive community on the planet! |
