Skyline not made for USarpus 02-27-2005, 12:42 AM hi..i probaly dont know anyone that hangs out here on the skyline forums, cause i have never been here b 4...but, around 2 years ago, maby just 1, i lost count..i was on the supra forums. NE WAYS....it may be on this forum already, but i didnt wanna read ALL that....so do they still make the skyline? who makes it, cause nissan dont have it on the site and car dealer sites like aito trader dont have it under nissan. do you have to import them? AGAIN, SORRY if you posted this info somewhere else, but i dont have much tme to read all of it. THANKS thegladhatter 02-27-2005, 12:15 PM This should get some comments. VQuick 02-27-2005, 02:15 PM If you're looking for Skylines, you won't find them at Nissan's US site. The Skyline is made and sold in Japan. The US has the Infiniti G35 sedan and coupe, which are near identical to the current Nissan Skyline. The G35 has the most powerful Skyline engine standard, but lacks the continously variable transmission. The G35 is also left hand drive. arpus 02-27-2005, 08:48 PM yah, i looked at that, but i am talking bout the 1s that are on like, 2f2f......the gtr.....is there n e other car out there that has the same body style? VQuick 02-27-2005, 09:45 PM Not really. That's the old one. Unless you look at previous generation Skylines, there aren't many cars that look like it. Edit: I guess you could say the Acura Legend(2nd gen) kinda looks like an R34. Someone in my area tried to make their Legend coupe like an R34 GT-R, adding R34 headlights and tailights. It even has Signal Auto-style striping on the side. It was painted in a pearl type color(not a factory color), so that might raise your suspicions a bit. Otherwise, it's actually pretty convincing from a distance. arpus 02-28-2005, 08:58 AM http://www.iol.ie/~donohoer/0Nissan_Skyline_R34.htm this is what im looking for, below is an acura legend...is there n e way to get like a kit car in the US of a skyline? ^^^that type. or at least just the body.http://www.endlessventures.net/StevesCars.html this is the legend i found..^^^ VQuick 02-28-2005, 10:24 AM I really don't know. Unless some Legend body kits are available, the work will probably have to be custom. The headlight/taillight conversion is probably custom work, too. arpus 02-28-2005, 11:24 AM is there lots of imported skylines...like the logo skyline up in the top left corner? VQuick 02-28-2005, 04:18 PM No, not that many Skylines were imported and legalized. There's probably less than 200. There may be a few illegals running around too, but they really aren't worth the risk of buying. arpus 03-01-2005, 10:52 AM yah...but i want a skyline soooo bad....not more than a supra of cource, but i love skylines....2nd fav. car. jcsaleen 03-01-2005, 11:26 AM vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
