tire PSI loss billyboyb 02-25-2005, 04:29 PM
hi, does a car losing tire pressure at a rate of a 1/2 pound a week sound feasible?? if not?? what is the norm?? KustmAce 02-27-2005, 12:40 PM I dont think tires are supposed to lose pressure at all. public 02-27-2005, 12:46 PM Just a little loss due to temperature change. You have a leak. big dude1 02-27-2005, 06:22 PM nails.... inarifennec 02-28-2005, 12:18 AM tire may be mounted on the rim wrong. had that happen once. Came back and found a flat tire. noshun 02-28-2005, 01:29 AM you may have a poor seal at the bead. My fix for this is to put about 35psi in the tire (avoided long drives while like this) and run it for about a week, release some pressure after the week and usually the beads seals itself. billyboyb 02-28-2005, 07:43 AM ok thanks........ billyboyb 03-28-2005, 07:23 AM nails.... update:..........one little nail in the tread found.......thanks..... Related Links Enter the largest automotive community on the planet! |
