got a 2000 Olds silloutte one week ago, The cookent looked like mud.
When I picked the car up it looked like a new radator cap and the coolent was changed. One week later I found a empty overflow and mud.
I took it back to the dealer, he took it to GM. They are replacing the gasket. Will this be the last gasket or what! I bought the car from a Saan Dealer

I'm not sure if enough info is out there yet concerning the revised gasket ( link to info about this --> http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=316711&highlight=revised+intake+gasket read post #4.) and how well it is holding up since installation. Maybe if somebody has more info on their particular vehicle, if the intake gaskets were installed post 7/02, could reply to let us know if they have had any further problems with them. Mine was done in 7/02 and will have to recheck my invoice for the work to see if the new gaskets were installed as I didn't have the work done at the dealership, but the mechanic did get the gaskets through the dealer.
