what color is the ZC valve color black or silverish grey

hey im having this guy get me a zc SWAP THOUGH WHEN I SAW THE MOTOR THE VALVE COVER WAS SILVER...IS THAT STILL A ZC MOTOR..OR IS THE VAVLE COVER SUPPOSE TO BE BLACK???? I NEED TO KNOW......THANKS JULIO

The valve cover is black and it is a DOHC valve cover...basically it is wider than a SOHC valve cover. Also if you can, check the block stamp near where the trans and engine meet. The engine code should be stamped on there.

yeah, check the block to be sure....if the vc's silver, like bare metal, its probably just been stripped...

The Engine code should say "ZC", the Honda motor company sign should be on the exhaust side of the manifold, the valve cover bolts are also on the outer edges of the valve cover, and the valve cover should be black.
