ok, i dont even own one yet, but i am leaning towards a blazer. can someone just list some of the differences between them. like what different engines they come with, different body styles, and some of the most popular problems they seem to have. also, what kind of engines will swap right in?

Suggest you do an internet search ....
There are 2WD , 4WD 2-dr and 4dr, 2.8L and 4.3L ...
What year, what are you looking for, and why do you want to swap engines when you haven't even bought one yet....????

Ok as you ask question please give us information that can be useful....
"would a camaro engine go right in"...
So now we'd have to ask...what camaro, what cubic inches ? what tranny are you going to use ? Are you going to rebuild the whole drive train ? 5-speed ? What rear end ? Is it 4 WD...? What are you expected out comes ? Speed vs 4-wd ?
I would suggest you do some serious planning and thinking then ask the questions....we'll help if we can, but need to know a whole lot more....
Things you have to worry about.....
4wD axle vs trashing and moving back to 2WD.
Bolt lineup for tranny bell housing ?
Computer controlled vs old fashion carberatored, non computerize motor.
exhaust manifold / system
Power steering pump , alternator, airconditioner .....
All that said...if it's a 4.3L configuration, it "should be" close but I just don't know....

No, it wouldn't fit right in. Different blocks, bell housings.
Small block V8s will fit in with major modifications - to everthing.
4.3 Vortecs are plentiful in bone yards

As LT said go witha 4.3. If properly taken care of they are bullet proof. Search these forums for mileage on some of these motors and you'll be amazed.
