well yeah they are cheap rims but I am a student and its hard to get some paper :S.... They are better than 15" hub caps though with like 205 15 65 tires :(

I like the first ones here:

that tire size is wrong for your car. It will throw your speedo off almost 5mph. The correct tire size is 225/45/-17 for 17's wheel and 225/40-18 for 18's. Also they are super low profile and will look ghey.

oh i c

I am realy a nub, can a 215 17" 40 and 205 17" 40 tires fir the same rim ?, whats the difference? I am running 205 right now with my 15" stock rims

tisk tisk... your 15" stock OEM wheel should be 195/65/15. Z24 are 205/55-16. You can run really any tire that end with a 17 on a 17" rim. If its not the exact number you need, your speedo will be off and can cause a problem with the cops. If your gettin 17".... 225/45/-17 is the proper size you need.

This website says:

For 45-series tires, you will want a tire that is 205 mm wide

so Ill use 45-205mm or 40-225, Is there really a big difference in heith ?

black

but for 45-series tires, a tire of 205 mm wide will be safe ?

will that put my speedo off by alot ? I mean 2mph will not be a problem ^_^

I'm getting the BK-7 18" rims in that same brand. I'm getting the gunmetal rims. I have a white 2.2 4door cavy...like crj's only newer lol. I have yet to lower it though...won't be much since I will be putting 18s on it.

Just scroll down a little bit.

I lowered mine with coilovers and the front came out nice but the back looks almost the same as stock. If I only knew were to buy lower strut upper mounts for the back :/

This is my coilovers: www.vaos.net

They must be cheap shit lol, I bought them on a website without any knowledge. BTW they dont bounce or make any noice at all.

hell for $300 I'd be pissed if it didn't come out right.

By the way...CRJ you finally get a body kit? Looks good if that is indeed yours.

Ah. Makes me wish I had money...I'd drop my 2.2 out and put in a 3.8 and twin turbo it. Then work on the outside

the 195/205/215 is the width of the tire in mm the 45/50/55 is the sidewall height (each side of the rim) as a percentage of the width e.g 205/50 the sidewall each side of the tire would be 102.5mm and 205mm in total. I never understood mixing inches and metric on those though and that's the worldwide system! You can work out the rolling circum of each wheel and tire combination and then the difference it will make on the speedo. It wont be as high as 5mp though. But if you plan to mkae a sleeper aren't 17's a little showy? I'm not going over 16" for performance reasons. Probably Enkei or OZ. BTW MSR aren't actually that bad a company for wheels and those have been around for about 4 years now!
