Two kills, a death, a feeling of insignificance, and a challenge...

So, after a near week of being gone, I'm finaly back from DC, with some good stories to tell. I would post a list of bad ass cars I saw, but it would go on forever. Lets just say that highlights included two ///M5s (both E39s), a bad ass looking 645Ci, countless E36 and E46 ///M3s, an RS6, two S4s, and a Ferrari.

But first, I'll go ahead and tell you about the kills. There were several, but I'm only gonna put the good ones in here. Our modus transportati was my counsin's...well, my cousin's husband's (so technically, my cousin by marriage) Audi A4 1.8T, AWD, Steptronic (or whatever the hell Audi calls there's), Nuespeed chip and power pully, and a Borla exhaust. He wanted to get a regular stick, but considering my cousin is pretty inept when it comes to such things as driving a stick, he got the Audi version of steptronic. This thing is quick, to say the least. The chip basically lets this thing fly, its a shit ton faster than any 1.8T I've raced.

The first kill took place as we were leaving Georgetown. We decided to take some girls that we met at the confrence out (mine was some hottie blonde from SC with a Southern Accent, I was like...damn...). We were crossing the bridge when another Audi, a TT coupe, rocketed by us. Being in the ever racing mood I am, we give chase. I catch up to it suprisingly easily, and pace it for about a half mile till we get to a light. The TT is reving it up, and I look over and just nod that I'm game. Light goes green, and we both punch it. The A4 gets a healthy jump, and I walk the TT about four or five lengths up to 70 before letting off. The TT never caught up, by his choice.

Next race was on the highway. Not sure if it was the one that Dampachi gave me, but it headed outa DCA, and went out around the city. We were cruising at about 95, noting the total lack of DC Metro cops, when I look up in the rear view, and see a nice, rally blue Subby with the massive hood scoop and wing comming up on us. Turns out it was just an Impreza WRX, not an STi, but still, nice looking car. I look over, and he kinda nods, knowing whats gonna happen. We cat and mouse it through moderate traffic till we get open. The girls were both kinda like...uh, whats gonna happen, and me and my buddy (hes the one with the Lexus Type R) are just grinning like a bunch of retards. The guy in teh Subby holds up three fingers, and we nod. He honks us down, and we punch it from 70. From 70 to abot 85ish, we were dead even, but then we started pulling. We held the pull, a decnet walk, up to 120, where we let off a bit over two cars up.

We were feeling really bad ass, then, when we went to challenge another BMW. Looked stock, debadged, E36. I was to busy feeling good for myself to notice the tell tale touches of an E36 ///M3, not a 3xxCi. Anyways, I look over, and point ahead, and the guy driving looks past his girl, and nods. We drop down to 65, and I honk us down. I punh it, and start to walk away. However, as I pull to a full length, the Bimmer all but lifts up, and flys past me. I can hear the whistle that you get with the turbo, and then the BOV, and then the sound of myself all but soiling my pants.

Anyways, we give the Bimmer thumbs up, and break off, going down a seperate ramp that I assume will get us back to the city. We end up on a decently empty highway, and I decide to test this bad boy out. I was feeling real bad ass doing about 145, maybe a buck fifty, when I look up, and one of the two ///M5s and the Ferrari I saw on the trip fly past us like we weren't even moving. Now that makes you feel insignificant and small. Anyways, we find our way back to dowtown DC, get the girls to thier hotel, and I'll let ya'll imagine what happened then.

Anyways, I finaly get home, and there is nothing going on here, so I head down to Columbia, see if I can entertain myself. I cant, save for a few Civics, and I basicaly put another 100 miles on Cassie, and waste a quarter tank. Thats when I notice a white Dodge pickup pacing me. I look over, and the guy is signalling me to roll down my window, he points to a parking lot, and we head over. He asks me if I want to race his buddies Dodge Stealth TT. I know I'm gonna loose, miserably, but I enjoy racing, so I say sure. So, this upcomming Saturday at around 11:00pm, I will be driving to my own death bed, but I really dont mind, as long as I get to see some good cars in action. I'll keep ya'll updated on that situation. But I'll tell ya, if I cant find a way to get the insurance down on an ///M3, and the price is up there on an E90 330, I think I'll take a close look at those Audis...I mean, a chip, pulley, and exhaust, and that thing could move! And from what I read, the 3.0 V6 is nothing impresive, and that I should go with the 1.8T for modding.

Cliff Notes:
*Sigh* I guess if you just cant read the post...
Borrowed a modded A4 1.8T, raced and beat a TT and Subby WRX, lost to an ///M3 with turbo, totaly ignored by an ///M5 and Ferrari, got with a chick from South Carolina with the sexiest damned accent ever, leading Cassie to her death on saturday

Just a small incongruity to your story...you say that when you were doing a buck 50, the M5 blew by you like you were standing still...The M5s are limited to 155 mph (as are all BMWs) so he would have just moderately trotted past you...unless he had a dinan chip or something that disabled the limiter, then it's totally legit.

Probably chipped, because he was holding with the Ferrari (I dont think it was an Enzo, by all means. Probably one of the "lower end" Ferraris).

Yeah seriously...their "low end" cars are still 6 or 7 times as expensive as normal car companies's "high end" cars...would "entry level" be a more politically correct term?

Great story Cassiesman. Southern Chicks are hot. A few of them work at the department store I do. I could just oogle over them all day long. The just seem to know how to walk, talk, and I had the pleasure of meeting one of them at a club up in SLC and had the oh so wonderful pleasure of air humping with her :naughty: .

The 1.8T's are one of my choice cars to buy whenever the time comes that I could afford to buy one. They are extremely sexy cars to me. I've "tried" to take a run at a few. Stock even at that, and learned my lesson about them quickly. Nice runs, and too bad you couldn't play with the M5 and Ferrari, eh? . Thanks for the story Cassiesman. L8...

Nice kills, and don't worry about getting walked at 150, I got left behind by a heavily modded cobra when I was doing 140+ in my vr4. Definantly a loss I was happy to take.
