My wife has a 1998 Dodge Caravan. We recently replaced the battery. The lights on the vent control buttons began flashing in some sort of sequence. I have been informed that they need to be reprogrammed. Does anyone know how to do this without having to take it to a dealer?

Try doing this: (to reprogram control panel)

1) Set BLOWER to HIGH
2) Set MODE to PANEL
3) Set TEMP to COLD
4) Press and hold WASH and REAR WIPER together, for 5 seconds.
There will be a series of flashing lights. When done, the REAR WIPER should be the only one flashing.
5. Press REAR WIPER to EXIT programming mode

Thanks yogi... I think that's got it.
