Impala SS clone - what would it take?K15004X4 02-18-2005, 08:26 PM I am looking at buying a mid 90's caprice. I am just wondering how much I would have to spend to make it into a 94-96 impala ss. Obviously new rims and tires, remove all chrome, impalla grill, black paint etc. I am not very familiar with these cars. Has anyone done this and how much would I be looking at spending? Also a 9c1 would be a better starting point vs. a civvie caprice as far as having all the brakes and sway bars. HLandin 02-19-2005, 08:02 PM My question is, once again, why do people want to convert Caprices into Impalas? What is wrong with a Caprice? I'm sorry. I'm ranting and raving again. 94-9c1-lt1 02-20-2005, 03:52 PM I happen to like the caprice ss better than the impala ss. Of course my caprice still looks like a sheriffs car, spotlight push bar and all. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
