Stock tires and rims for X, what price should I ask for them?mpero 03-19-2002, 10:01 PM I have stock tires and rims for my 2001 Xterra. Not the SE rims, but the 15 x 7 rims on the XE. I am looking to get new tires and rims now. I have about 25,000 miles on them, and am looking for a good price to sell them for. I could use a little feedback on what I should ask for. rrdstarr 03-19-2002, 10:19 PM If you plan on offroading you should keep your stock XE wheels! They are the proper offset and you won't be rubbing tires in the wheel wells and fenders! If your just going to be on the street, I'd ebay the wheels! People always looking for spares! -Rick scott.com 03-19-2002, 10:30 PM Do a search on e-gay. You might find a few people selling them there. Aslo check the AF Junk forum. I'm sure a few sets have listed there. mpero 03-19-2002, 10:32 PM I am already set on a new set of tires and rims, but i want to make a little bit of money on my old set, rather than just throwing them away, which seems to be not so smart. I am really looking at an offering price that would seem fair, as well as be worth while for me. rrdstarr 03-19-2002, 10:35 PM XOC www.xterraownersclub.com also has pretty good buy and sell! Put them in "Junkyard" in this forum for $150-200 for all four, assume you have a 15" steel spare? Schludwiller 03-19-2002, 11:06 PM Sometimes you can swing $20-25 a tire, trade-in at the tire shop you're buying the tires from. Then sell the rims after the tires have been pulled off (ask the shop to give you the boxes the wheels came in for shipping). Ag_xterra 03-20-2002, 05:08 PM if they are the polished aluminum like the ones that came on my 01 XE then you could probably get 300-400 on ebay. thats how much they've been going for. Goliath the X 03-20-2002, 06:37 PM Are they alloys or steel? If they are steel, let's talk. mpero 10-31-2004, 09:14 PM I know this was a while back, but are you still interested in the rims that I have? They are the stock (stee) rims from a 2001 Xterra. Let me know. Mike Are they alloys or steel? If they are steel, let's talk. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
