When the car is running and the hood is open
i hear a noise like air is leaking out somewhere
if any one can tell me what that is about i willapreciate it

and also there is somthing missing i think
it's in the back of the engine looks like a containter
it have like a peice on it (somthing like you fit a hose on)
but when it was on nothing was connected on it
and it was so rusty it fell off

well i just want to know what containter thing is
and if i should be worried about it

Could be your Vavle Cover breathers, just breathing. or you have leak in the exhaust mainfold. For the container I dont what your talking about dude.

something else you might check would be any holes or tubes coming out of the intake or the carb, could have a vacum leak sucking air, if so u need to plug them, it willmake the car run better also.

I had a similar problem and i couldnt figure out what was wrong. So it took off my air filter and found there was a hole in the vacuum line running from the carb to the transmission. It made the car run terribly, and without the hose the car wouldnt run at all. You can find a replacement hose at any auto parts store as well as hose clamps
